The company expanded into foil processing and printing in the pharmaceutical industry a few years after. It currently operates a mother unit in Baddi, H.P. Which is one of the first GMP compliant foil plants in India and serves some of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in india for their domestic as well as regulated market requirements.
Protech has set up its first Medical Devices Unit in Guwahati for the production of syringes. This plant made in line with the latest USFDA norms being created from scratch to meet a growing demand in the country for high quality syringes especially post the Covid pandemic and the governments subsequent push for more medical facilities and access across the country and its push for self-sufficient India in fields such as medical devices.
